Greg Hessig shares with us pictures of his latest build of the M8, along with an excellent diorama!

Awesome work as I've stated before Greg, your builds are part of what continue to inspire me to hone my skills in 1/48 armor

Thanks Matan for editing this and the very nice comments.

Jeremy thanks again. You're a great motivator on this site and you got great skills yourself. We'll just keep trying to improve with each build.

Thanks again for the comment Roman

Thanks Greg, and you bet we will! This community, for lack of a better word, is simply invaluable to us as a whole and I think we all learn faster and better because of it.

Btw, I just made a filler plate for the Tamyia M4A1 per the instructions posted on Track 48 and the dimensions are not quite right for the rear measurements. It's been fun learning how to do a lot of this stuff, I should probably be posting more build logs...

@ Jeremy - do you have a build log going of your
sherman? I have one of those in the future line up once I get some stuff painted. I might get some of the Gasoline tracks to go on it.

@ Louis - thanks for the kind remarks!

I will have to work on my face painting for the next one

Hi,
It's a great job! Congrats!

May be you could add some snow on top of the boxes on the ground !

No sir I do not, I can throw one up if you like though? It's just a box stock build, sort of a test run before I build some more with finer details.

Greg, great to see this one as a feature! Hopefully other participants of the campaign will follow your example to get some details out. Unfortunately it wasn't possible to put in so many pics with the 1/48 scale campaign feature...

Cheers!

Hi Pierre, thanks for the compliment and feedback

Jeremy, nothing wrong with an OOB, that's where you can focus on painting and weathering more.

Stefan, I like the way you did the round-up, but I guess there's nothing wrong with a little extra on the side

Rob - thanks sir!
