Good question that I also would like to know before ordering.
It may be too soon after the HB release that anyone has used their figures.
The fact is though, that they really are the only game in town for correct figures and from my earlier post they are an exellent company to deal with.

Accurate Armour's figures intended for their SAS DPV have the seats molded to their rear ends; since these seats are different than in the Wolf XD series of vehicles, they will have to be removed and the figures altered a bit to fit the WMIK seats--not much of a problem. The ring mount gunner is made to fit a small seat that is suspended from the ring mount of the SAS vehicle, which is not present in the WMIK. The WMIK gunner has to stand straight up, so the gunner figure may have to be separated at the waist and some straight legs from the spares box will need to be found. I am thinking of using the legs from the "pointing" figure in Dragon's Desert Rats set, or using the Warriors/Lincoln County Line (from old VLS range) figure of a British Desert Storm Officer with different arms (standing figure in Nemrod's Hummer crew). The figures also have Load Bearing Vests on (hard to tell if body armour is underneath), so they are not locked in to any specific time period that armour vests would do. they do have on helmets with small mics, but these are worn by many non-SAS units nowadays, so no big deal. The heads are separate, so can be replaced by heads with berets, boonie hats,etc.. Only "problem" is with individual weapons included--are not standard L85s, but Canadian versions of M-16s as issued to the SAS. But AA has a new set of L85s-standard and short barrelled-that can be purchased when purchasing the figures! They also have a set of crew packs, hanging bags, web gear, etc. that will go well with the WMIK; really need to check their site out for some really USEFUL accessory items!! AA's figures are not a perfect substitute, but are likely to be the only game in town (unless they release a 'modified' set in the future). Hope this helps out some. Good Luck! On AAs site, check out accessory sets A132 L85A2 weapons and A125 Hanging Crew Kit; the latter has items almost every WMIK has!! Seems almost specifically tailored for the WMIK!

Hi All,

If you do you the Accurate Armour DPV crew this is NOT a Wolf based landrover. The DPV was based on a different chassi and body. The rear body is based on the Land Rover pick-up. The seats in the DPV are the older style Defender seats, and not the newer style seats found in the WMIK/Wolf.

Cheers

Brian
