I am getting ready to start a Panzer III L build, with a full interior but am lacking some interior references. Can anyone help me out with any links for with pics of interior? Also was the interior mostly ivory, and Red primer like the panther, and Kingtiger?
Thanks, Nathan

Oh, dear.

Bovington have once again distorted history. Why would they paint it white? Why not match the color it used to have?

And it was quite an interesting color. The interior was originally Ivory/Green in the standard early-war pattern. But the ivory parts were overpainted with a tan colour, leaving the decals crudely exposed in ivory rectangles. Wasn't this tank captured in Africa? And wasn't there a practice among the Germans of painting their tank interiors in Africa a darker colour, because the sunlight coming in through any opening would produce a patch bright enough to affect their vision? I think this tank was an example of that repainting.

And now it's all gone.

Plus, they preserved the incorrect green paint on the breech. A post on any modelling forum such as this one would have brought them correct information about that.
