Hello guys,

i work on a HB Leo2E at the moment which is actually not supposed to become an all correct tank equipped with lots of PE parts but i want to make it as correct as well without aftermarket products. Because the HB kit are pretty cheap it's ideal for practice.

Nevermind, i know about the much too thick anti slip coatings on the rear hull, the bad tracks, the nonexistent commander vision blocks and other smaller details but what's about the topside of the turret? I've seen build blogs about Strv. 122 that showed a lot of modifications. So the question is: are the turret topsides of the Leo2E and Strv. 122 nearly the same?

I could get only a few good pictures of the Strv. 122 turret from PrimePortal so far but no shot from above of the Leo2E turret. Hope somebody here could help me with some information and/or pictures? Thanks!

I thought HB only issued the Leo2A6Ex (export prototype) not the Spanish one.

HB released the spanish Leo2 a while ago. Actually it's (at least i think it is) the same kit as the A6EX with specific decals.

I checked the 2E box and it has almost all the parts in the Strv 122 kit excluding the hull rear piece.
