Just curious what paint other people use for Yellow. I find yellow one of the hardest colors to apply, for coverage. I have tried Vallejo Air, Tamiya, MM Acryl, MM Enamel. The best coverage I have gotten is with MM Acryl, but it comes right back up with maksing. I have tried low pressure, high pressure, thin coats, thick coats. I just can't seem to get yellow to fully cover, with out a ton of coats?
Just curious as to other people's experience?

If it's an overall yellow you want you can't beat acrylic car paint from a rattle can.
I used a Fiat Broom Yellow on this civilianised artillery tractor...I've also had good results using the same paint for small areas...suitably masked of course...

If you prime in BLACK, and then apply nice thin coats of yellow you will get the coverage you are looking for.
It sounds strange but it works. Try on a scrap piece of evergreen or scrap model to test the results against yellow painted onto standard primer....you will be floored!

Actually, I've done this myself when I received a similar tip from another modeler and it worked real well. I'd recommend it.
