Thanks

Either Lifecolor thinner or distilled water.

If I understand correctly, Lifecolor should be prethinned and ready to go from the pot.

You're welcome Tony.
@Jeremy - Nah, I always thin it 30 or 40% thinner for airbrushing.

Good to know. I had several people tell me that it was prethinned for airbrushing, but I haven't had a chance to try it out yet.
Cheers

Matt always gives good advice! I've been following his tips and suggestions for a while now.
Jeremy, you should try Lifecolor if you have a chance to pick some up. They are really great paints to work with from my experience - with both a brush and airbrush.

Anthony, are you planning to do a build log? If not, be sure to let us know what you think of Lifecolor. I bought a set a year to two ago and haven't looked back.

Hi Anthony
I use a mixture of 50% water (distilled is better) and 50% of a common home glass washer called Vetril and it works wonderfully
Vetril is an italian product, so I don't know if you'll be able to find it in USA. Many italian modellers say that actually lifecolor thinner is nothing like Vetril....in fact they have the same smell...
Anyway Vetril is methoxypropanol, so if you can find near your place a home glass washer with this component in the compound, I think you shoud use it to dilute the LC paints (of course made some trials)
Here you can find a huseful pdf file which clear many doubts about dilutions

cheers
NO, ABSOLUTELY!! Unthinned LC paints usually leave debris rather hard to remove.
I can say that If you want to get rid of your AB you should put the unthinned LC paint in the pot....fatal results
