I bought this kit last Saturday. I haven't seen this firm ever again, and the product code on the box, said 01.
Alas, the sprues inside kept their secret very well hidden: They were made by "AER Moldova". Very difficult kit. Many simplifications, very hard plastic, many gaps that needed filling and sanding, the piece-by-piece track, couldn't form a straight line...
But I fought it, and brought it up to here:

Sounds like a real dog of a kit!
I think you've done very well with it though- nice paint job and weathering.

From looking at it, I can't tell that it was junk to begin with. Great job.

Thanks guys!!!
It was indeed a dog!!!
The main problems were located in the wheel bogies and consequently, the tracks!!!
The bogies were refusing vigorously to come together.
There weren't any pegs (although were illustrated in the instructions), and I had to drill the holes and replace them with paperclip stubs...
Anyway, maybe, I will place it in a small base, with lot of dirt, in order to hide the track deficiencies.

Hi Orestis - nice job! I've got a couple of them in my stash - one by MSD/Maquette one by Eastern Express and although the sprues have no maker's name I suspect the are the AER jobs as well: Both kits are exactly the same colour plastic, and even the (abundant) flash is identical!
Just as well I enjoy a challenge!
Cheers,
Dierk
