Hi guys..

Dragons Tiger I hulls are different in hatches style on the bottom side.

The E (late) Variant as on the picture and the (very) early H1 hull for the very initial Tigers in Leningrad.

Which hull is the right one for 1943 Kursk Tiger (with side fenders, wider front fenders, air filter etc.) ? The initial one with only 2 round chatches in the bottom or the one like on the picture which is also used on late E variants?

AJ Press Tiger vol I says the "late style" bottom hull was also used on the eary H1 is that correct? When did Tigers start to use that sort of bottom underside?

As far as I know, the rectangular hatch was introduced along with the HL 230 engine in May 1943.
There were Tigers of various ages in action at Kursk, and even from the description that you wrote, they could have either kind of engine.
Have you a specific tank or even a unit in mind?
