I'm looking to replace the pioneer tool set from the Tamyia Cargo Truck. I want the set that does not have molded clamps on them. Does anyone have any recommendations?

IF the tools are otherwise pretty nice, maybe it would be effective to shave the molded-on clamps off? Lots cheaper and much faster than buying some new ones...! Of course, if they are pretty nasty, this effort won't be worth it.

Thanks for the info. I'll see what I can come up with.

That was what I originally was going to do. However the pickaxe has the clamps in such a manner on the pointed end that I might damage the part too much.

Mike,
Since you put this as Axis WW2, Formations isn't going to help much as they only do U.S. equipment. DML does a set of German tools and IIRC, they don't have the tool clasps. If indeed you are working on a U.S. truck ("Tamyia Cargo Truck" isn't particularly helpful for figuring out what you're building), then Formations does 2 set of tools: one with the straps and one without. Your level of dedication to detail should determine which set is right for you. Here are the urls for the Formations tool sets:
With straps: http://www.mcssl.com/store/formations/catalog/product/9015c619faba470f9f756329575887ae
Without straps: http://www.mcssl.com/store/formations/catalog/product/a3b0fe5f3fc147248b1c5a921f31f73f

Here's the url for the DML tools: http://www.cyber-hobby.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=3340

Hope that helps!
Regards,
Georg
