Hi Scott,

Your link isn't working but I managed to find it and its looking pretty darn good.

Should come up nicely when you finish. Keep us all posted on your progress.

Cheers, John

No probs Scott.

I see your from the Lone Star State. Knew a Quie from the National Guard who was in Iraq the same time. Kept feeding us with Starbucks coffee beans cause his guys didn't like drinking brews. Used to drop in with all sorts of goodies just so he could have a couple of cups of joe as he called it. Long live Ottis Spunkmire Muffins.

Thinking again Maybe instead of the M88 towing the ACAV, I should use a second ACAV as the Tow Vehicle, undecided

Scott,
Stick with your original concept.
Another M113 will just look like two M113s. The visual differences between the two plus the fact that the M88 is a dedicated combat support vehicle will instantly inform viewers that this is a recovery scene. So from a distance it will catch viewers eyes whereas the two ACAVs will just look like two ACAVs close together. Plus there is a lot more scope to add extra detail to the M88 in the way of stowage, tools etc.
Just my thoughts anyway.

Cheers, John

The original Concept is a picture oa A Troop 3/4 cav March 1969 in the HoBo Wood, an M88 is towing a Mine Damaged Sheridan and a Mine Damaged M113ACAV.
You are right in your thought, I will stick with the M88, May throw a M551 in there if I can get my hands on one here locally
