Hi Bill
Awesome review very well done as usual!!!
If i may ask a question about the german usage pertaining to ammo.
Did they rechamber the guns or as i believe you say they made 152mm
ammo or would they have destroyed the gun in place after exhaustion of
ammo.
Thanks again for your all your work.
Regards
Horst

Good review!
This seems to a good kit!
I also had ideas in mind for this gun in russian or possibly in german service.
Itīs "unfortunate" (or "sad" (I can not translate the word)) that Trumpeter has no other painting options given to the kit! .
The smaller "Ace Models" (Ukrainian company) kit has a few more options.
But also a problem could be the lack of the useful images.... possibly there are not enough for use.
But if you modellers are interested in more paint-options... there are some more in:
khaki-green+yellow-brown (for russian service), also green with white-wash (russian service), and khaki-green + white for the german versions at the atlantic wall.
greetings...
Soeren

Horst, my understanding from Neil Stokes is they captured so much ammo, they didn't need to manufacture it until 1943.
Soeren, thanks for those suggestions!
