Hi there!
Iīm trying to find info about BT-7 tank. I have a Zvezda BT-7 kit waiting for the Trench diorama. The kit seems quite allright in the sprues. It will wear Russian green paint job and lots of dirt, my scene will take place in Kursk 1943. I have no problems with the paint scheme, but if anybody has experience on this kit I would like to hear any pointers about its accuracy and suggestions how to improve it.
Thanks in advance!

Just posted my Barbarossa BT-5 on the Rivet Review Board Toni. An article is available at My Website. I think the Zvezda BTs share a lot of components and parts

Thanks Jeepney!
Actually I read your build story right after posting this topic, just didnīt notice the resemblence between these two tanks before!
I have enough mesh back home to cover the engine deck and maybe Iīll get a Jordi Rubio 45mm barrel for this kit.
I try to make it as worn and dirty as possible, I think it will help covering lack of detail in some parts. One-colour paint scheme will be difficult but Iīll need the practise anyway...
Your BT-5 goes to prove that itīs possible to have good results!
Thanks,
Toni

The 10 piece hull is difficult to put together without creating some seams in the process. I would suggest assembling the inner side plates, bottom hull, top hull and rear plate first. These parts will make aligning the nose plates and the outer side plates easier. I followed the assembly sequence in the instruction sheet and ended up with a big step between the outer side plates and the hull top. It's a fun little kit though and a little TLC will go a long way
