I've seen people recommend Lifecolor over the years. I finally tried out a bottle and it was...less than successful. Here are my problems:
1). I used the manufacturer's thinner, thinned the paint approx 50%. Nonetheless, it still seemed "thick" (though I had no trouble pushing it through my airbrush). Coverage was rather poor, with the underlying color showing through on all the cracks, gaps, and grills.
2. Stuff is taking quite a long time to dry.
I don't think the model is a disaster, and I can still recover, but I am thoroughly unimpressed with the stuff. Is there something I'm doing wrong?
In a related note, I decided to replace my bottle of Solvaset recently, and they must've changed the formula. It now creates a frosted effect! It seems to only happen over Future however. Is there something going on here too? Note that I'll sooner abandon Solvaset than I will Future, so is there a decal solvent that does not do this?
Thanks!
Damon.

Go to an art store and purchase some cobalt drier, add a drop to your cup. Trust me, it'll dry.
You could also pick up some alkyd medium at the same store. Can't say much for coverage, except probably not enough filler, apply numerous light coats.
Gunze Mr. Mark Softer seems to be pretty forgiving with Future. Try that.
