Recently finished Dragon "Premium Edition" JagdTiger with Porsche suspension that's been bouncing around the moving boxes:

For the vehicle, I chose to make one of sPzJagAbt 653's Jagdtigers, vehicle with tactical number 314 - it was one of two Porsche machines that did not receive Zimmerit and abandoned relatively intact in March of 1945.

I wanted to experiment with rain marks, portraying the vehicle that spent the winter of 1944-45 without white wash, coaxed into working by field repair shops and the rest of the time bottomed out in the mud...

Tamiya base coat Dark Yellow, Life Color for camo colors. Model Master Acryl for hand painted details, some pigments and mud that came out slightly too dark and uniform for my taste...

I love these kits, nice work Ivan! Make sure you sink it in a bit of mud if you ever get a chance to make a base for it

Very nice work. The only thing is the mud looks as red as the paint so there's no contrast and it looks like a bad brush job in some of the picks. Maybe just add 1 or 2 more colors to the mud to give more contrast. I love the shell impact and broken cable.

BrassNautilus - Amazing level of fine detail on your 314 (and much better photography), I'm working up to that... But not so hot on use of lichen(?) as foliage though - it kinda kills the scale as well as leafy salad tossed on top of the fine piece of art... Not saying that I have a better solution, but the former just doesn't work for me and takes away from the model

California Greg - thanks for calling me on the mud and that's one thing I didn't do multiple passes on... I felt that it came short and now I have an affirmation - gonna give it more attention it deserves.
