I should go back and dirty the tow cables more and of course finish a base. I signed up for too many group builds on Armorama but it's keeping me productive Any suggestions welcome

Tamiya kit, Eduard zimmeritt, RB Barrel, Hauler grill screens. Painted with Tamiya, Vallejo liquid mask (hated it!), Mig wash and pigments, figure from Dartmoor set

Nice KT Love the pose and painting of the TC. Do you know if anyone does that Dartmore Figure in 1/35. Nice one Greg the painting of that figure in 1/48 is really good. much respect! Cheers Geraint.

Just saw this over in the Tiger campaign thread, again nice work! I've never used the Vallejo liquid mask and was wondering what made it undesirable to work with. I'm guessing that it really grabbed onto zimm?

@Anthony - this is the 2nd time I tried one of these. Here's the Bandai I originally did about 5 years ago, learned a few things thanks to the internet since then

@Geraint - I believe Dartmoor only did 1/48 and 1/32. I used the driver from this set as my commander

@Jeremy - you are correct! It really just gums up and sticks to everything. I was hoping it would peel off in nice sheets...nnnnoooo. Very hard to rub & pick off. I never was able to get it all off but I'm hoping it just looks like dirt, etc and not too noticeable. It's good to try new things though.

Hi,what is your source for the 3 color camo. The dragon kit also shows it like this Tamiya build I did. the tigers in combat book also shows this.
Nice chipping you did

Good job Greg. I like the subtle dusting. Maybe just a freehand camouflage would look a bit better.

Thanks for the comment - I think I'll try free-hand or blue tacky on the next one. I haven't done too many camos. I do have a porsche turret in the stash so maybe I should give it another go

@Richard - thanks. They were painted black, drybrushed Mig standard rust and then dark earth pigments over top, last highlights drybrushed with black oil, some Vallejo oily steel paint marked a little bit here and there

@Brian--'btw, Company number was the larger one on the mantlet, the other 2 smaller digits on the barrel.'
It's different depending what side of the tank you're looking at. I will search for the discussion now - thanks again
