After primmer (sorry, not photographed, but primmer is primmer ..), I applied the basic colors in the tanks: khaki-brown in reworked girl and green in early.
The reason is that these colors are being represented when early in
England and Khaki in front of Tunisia ...
I did the ups and downs in the colors:
...and Future (with airbrush) before decals: Decalcomaniacs
Betty, the early lady, sharpening his claws on England:
..and Cameron, the reworked girl, in Tunisian front:
Uops...wrong Cameron...This is the real girl:
And the "looks" of my workbench, with tools and acessories, waiting for final build:
Well, there this, Folks...
Almost there...

Thanks, Alan....
At this stage, girls started aging: Filters and washes ...
The younger girl (early), with the colors of the time of his stay in England in training: For now, light weathering ...
..plus chipping:
And the Tunisian Girl, with sand, dust and dirt:
Chipping a lot (sand is very abrasive...)
Side by side...Almost there...
With the blessing of the Gods, I end this double this weekend ...
See you soon, Gents....

Marcos there is a walk around of the Mk 1 here and there is also an AVRE, the Black Prince, and a Mk VII with the crocodile bowser in tow. All of these are in the walk around area of Armorama which is reachable from the home page.

Very nice work indeed Marcos
The chipping looks very good and the mud us not overdone for these early ones that liked to fling it all about
Darren, thats not a MkI in your walkaround, its a MkII that some imaginative soul has removed the bow MG mound from and jammed a tube into the hole with a blanking plate. The MkI glacis is a different format.
It is an interesting tank though. It was obviously built in the first batches as it displays several early production features that are quite rare such as the twin raised points on the hull ventilator that were part of the latch mechanism for holding open the hull top hatches. It aslo has the posts welded to the upper slopes of the pannier fronts, behind the ilders and under the track, for mounting the jack blocks (these were very quickly moved to the ooutside of the horns)
It does though have some very curious features. The left side road wheels are the early spoked, but the right side are dished. It has also (somewhat inexplicably) been fitted with a very late all round vision cuppola.
It seems someone had the majority of a MkII, and cobbled on some general churchill bits to 'restore' it.
An interesting tank, and some great photos, but a museum example that does need to be treated with some caution by those wishing to use it for reference
Marcos, by an early MkIII, might I ask if you are modelling 'Satan'?

Satan ???
No, I don´t know this particular Mk III early....
Do you have pictures or draws/profiles???
As I am in the early stages of assembly, all research material is welcome ....
I have this profile of the SPRINTER IV:
Based in this beauty:
But if you have references about this SATAN, please post here or, better yet, post on the new topic about Mk III:

Marcos - I'd been sitting on the fence on building a Mk 1 but you article and excellent your models got me moving and I placed an order for the resin upgrade a couple of days ago. I did a search for the North African version decals and only found Decalomatics (sp?) for the Mark III's. Is this the set you used?
Thanks - Charlie
