Just completed the Revell kit with the PSM update set.....now need some good reference with regarss colour schemes....
Can anyone help ?

I've done a little on google and you tube.
Theres a little on there, but I was hoping someone would have specifics re colours etc....

well as for colors I suppose it's painted in the standard umtarnfarben...
that'd mean it's a rough mix of tam.xf60, xf57 and white (4:4:2) for the sand color and xf67, xf58, xf55 (2:2:1) plus maybe a hint of blue and sky for the nato green...
the camo sceme itself looks pretty much like it was just the black camo spots in green over a sand base color. it's pretty much the same sceme as on 3colored marders (actually it's mardern... )

Hi Andy,
the problem with the Umtarnfarben is that they were specificly developed for the purpose and do have NO match in Federal Standard or RAL colours. A Wehrtechnische Dienststelle (Military R&D facility) developed the colours for the Bundeswehr. The only source I know for Umtarnfarben is JPS Colors.
My best tip is that you check your references and mix yourself. Give the fact that the colours are heavily faded and dust covered, it should be easy to get a close match. http://www.jpsmodell.de
