Where You have found this slogan ? It is not "Russian spirit" - to name the tanks with such "children's" slogan.

Ed, I am making a "what if" diorama, where the crew of my M4A2 is an all female crew. Yes, I know that is not realistic, but that is why it is a :what if" scenario. The turret will also hold the outline of a hissing cat. Danny

- If you wanted to make the M4A2 tank and it's crew only of children - You must write:

- Сталинские котята


- BUT IF YOU WANT TO MAKE THE M4A2 TANK WITH "ALL FEMALE" CREW - YOU MUST WRITE:

СТАЛИНСКИЕ КОШЕЧКИ - capital letters, or

Сталинские кошечки - small letters.

This phrase most precisely corresponds both with "Stalin's kitten" phrase and with Your idea of diorama with all female crew !

Here the "КОТЯТА" word is UNACCEPTABLE, because THIS WORD HAVE the CHILDREN'S application.

just to complete eduard´s words:
"кошки" instead of "кошечки" would also fit.

the second one is some kind of kindy and cute word for female kitties.
"кошки" is just a standart word for female cats.

so - it´s up to you.

I like to use humor with my war dioramas....I started one in Germany before I had to leave for the US. The scene is during the Battle of France and a French Hawk 75 performed an emergency landing, ending up with the nose buried in a large hole of mud (pigs runnign away from mud hole). On the other side of the mud hole is a road and the German staff car passing by gets covered with flying mud and ends up in the ditch. Marching troops are walking by laughing. I hope top finish this one when I get back home to Germany.
