Greetings

For my Tamiya Tiger tank I want to make it have the all grey paint scheme. My only problem is how to weather it. I am used to only weathering tanks with the dark yellow scheme so I can use dark pastels on it to show. For the grey, can black still be used? I feel it won't show much at all. Also, for chipping, what paint should I have underneath the Panzer grey coat. And I have heard Vallejo acrylics are best for chipping. Can tamiya acrylics also be used? Thanks.

Joe,
A set of 3 weathering products just for Panzer grey is now available from AK Interactive! The set will be available from AK Interactive USA by this Friday 6.3.11.
The set consists of:
AK-069 Streaking Grime for Panzer Grey
AK-070 Wash Brown-Blue for Panzer Grey
AK-071 Filter: Blue for Panzer Grey
These would be ideal for your current project as they are specifically designed for monotone Panzer Grey finishes.
If you have any questions please let me know.
