need help on how to paint mouthes/lips of a figure, the figure is 1/35 and is talking so i don't know if it changes anything.

What I've done is just darken the skin tone a little for the lips, adding a little red to it as well. For an open mouth I just used raw umber to make it look somewhat like a shadow. If teeth are visible and you can actually reach them, flesh color or something similar to what you would use for the whites of the eyes will work as long as it isn't too bright.

I use brown watercolor to darken the area between the lips and Testor's light tan for the lips. I takes a steady hand and I like to use a magnifying lense.
