G'day all,
I've been trying to chase down a manufacturer of 1/35 combat boots for figure conversion.
So far I have found a plethera of hands and heads but no boots. Verlinden does a set which are good if you want boots taken off and Soverign has some British boots but I am specifically looking for US WW2 shoes/boots and gaiters.
Any pointers would be appreciated.
Cheers, John

Hi John,
i think Verlinden would be a good start with their conversion sets:
US Airborne WWII #2440
US Army GI WWII Europe #2113
US Marines WWII #2096
US Tankers WWII #2138
but these are more on the big site like 1/32 or 54mm. Also you can get some Dragon Figure sets and cut away their boots. The plastic Figure sets are not so expensive and good for conversions or to get equipment and spare parts.
Also you could use an good Resin Figure and copy the boots with silikon but this is some question with copyright and ethic etc. So i would recommend the Plastic Figure sets.
Hope this helpes
