I have created an Operation Barbarossa photo album. It is Here. Please e-mail me one or two photos of your completed entry at [email protected] or [email protected].
Along with your photo send the following information:
1. Who you are, don't care if it is real name, callsign or both
2. What you built and who's side it fought on (since I've been informed that I don't know much about WW2 armor, I may not know)
3. What manufacturer it is (and with what aftermarket, if any)
4. Which category it goes into, i.e. armor, armor OOB, other, other OOB
5. Any caption or other words you may want to include describing work done, unit depicted, what the scene represents
6. Include Barbarossa as the subject in the e-mail, that way I will know it's probably not porn in my inbox.
The album will be located here: Operation Barbarossa. The gallery defaults to the sort by "most active" method of viewing pictures. This jumbles entries by sorting them into the order or which photos were looked at most. If you chose sort by "image name", "title" or "latest", it will keep the two photos of an individual's entry together. Some entrants only submitted one photo.

If the description is sparse on your entry, it is because that is all you sent me in your e-mail. Easier for you to include the two photos and 4 to 5 items I asked for than for me to guess or hunt through several forums to find the right information. I believe it is not too much to ask since I have to resize the photos, convert to proper format, upload them, add/edit the captioning text, etc.
Also limit your entry to two photos that you want to display your work. If you send more, I'll pick two and they may not be the ones you prefer.
I am assuming 1/35 if no scale is mentioned. If you have entered photos of your kit prior to weathering and want me to include it in the remarks, then tell me so.
I am using the following format for entries:
Modeler: John Smith (jsmith)
Tamiya German Tank, with some aftermarket track.
Category: Armor modified
Remarks: I banged up the fenders.
Although Sunday, 21 Sept., was the official last day of the build, I will still accept photo entries for a reasonable amount of time afterwards. What is a reasonable amount of time you ask? Kind of like popping popcorn in a microwave. When entries trickle down to a few "pops" at a time. It'll be my decision.
Again, it makes it a lot easier for me if the photos and information are contained in an e-mail sent to the above addresses (put Barbarossa in the subject or it will not be opened). If I've got to hunt for photos linked somewhere, they'll get uploaded when (read: if) I get to them. Be advised, since I stopped monitoring other forums besides site admin ones, if your information is posted in Rivet Review or some other forum, I will not see it to know to look for it.
This thread was edited and bumped back to the top of the forums. I also deleted non-essential posts since it was getting difficult to sift through the pertinent information with all the extraneous posts. I did not want to lock the topic in case someone needed to post a issue that I need to address (such as adding a second e-mail).

Not my doing. Jim moved all Barbarossa photos into a special gallery. Among the photos moved were some that other individuals had uploaded their work into other albums. All entries that I uploaded were either one or two pictures. I haven't bothered to try to sort out the mess caused by the photo migration. Basically, if you already have two photos uploaded, don't expert me to upload any more. For the people who had more than that uploaded due to Jim's action, I'll probably just leave them there.
New album is located here: Operation Barbarossa.
