Hey Kiong,

I got 2 book of Operation citadel from jjf publishing, and Kursk is my favorite batlle grond...

The collors on the tanks used were 4 BO green buthere is also reported that the Grossdeutschland division destroyed T-34 with hex turrets that were sandcolored. They discribed it as a color that was a bit lighter than the dunkel gelb the germans used...

Also the usual tekst on the turrets was there like ''Spartak'' or 'Sebiriak''
Don't know what that means...

Regards,

Remco

Spartak (Спартак) means Spartacus - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spartacus
Sebiriak (Сибиряк) - a person for Siberia (like an american means a person from America)
But I am pretty skeptical about those writings being common.

Hey Alex,

You're right. I made an type error and it has to be unusual.

Your paint example is very close i think. I have the valejo/ak colorset and its very close to the 4bo dark base color. A bit to brown maybe...

Regards,

Remco
