I finally finished up most of my Features/Sections module re-write. You can see the new look here. This new system will be much more scaleable for the future as well as supporting the various other languages on the site much better. Also it will leave an opening for Special Sections or Groups to open up and have their own little area of the site. I was envisioning groups along the lines of Braille Scale Armor, Scratchbuilding, Digital Photograhy, etc.
If you have any ideas about how this area could be improved further please share them with me. I also could use some help with the other language translations (basically whereever there is a word that starts with _example).
Thanks,
Jim

Jim, it really looks great. The contest graphic you added is good too. I really like the 'most recent forum topics' function you added. I don't think that was on the preview you showed me.

BTW Jim, you've built yourself quite a loyal henhouse here. Just try to remember that the 'white noise' (silence) is noise too. In other words, I'm sure you can feel confident that just about every member of Armorama truly appreciates all the time you put into the site. That includes all the 'behind-the-scenes' stuff too. :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Good job, Jim! How much are they paying you for making us all so very happy? They pay you, right? However, this is the kind of service money can´t buy!
I´m amazed how this whole thing works so well and even the graphics rule!
Wow.

If only you knew how much I was laughing...cheerfully of course, when I did that.
Hmmm, all those smiles seems to have slowed the page load time. Darn dial-up.
Thanks for all Jim.

Now Jim,
I do appreciate all you dedication and heard work. But then, what else is there to do in sprawling downtown Charlottesville? Go to the Food Lion? :-)
Ok, so we used to drive from Culpepper to Charlottesville just to go do something. Now Fredericksburg has all the cool stuff. In those days visiting family was going to my uncles house in Staunton to milk his cows when he was too sick to milk. Then of course getting back to milk our cows.
Again, thanks for the wonderful site and putting up with all our occasional shenanigans.

Dave,
You said it man. That's why the family and I may be leaving soon. Any more peaceful and quite here and we are going mad. Virginia is beautiful in the Springtime though.
In less than 6 months it's looking like... "California here we come (back)!"

I have a cousin still living in Culpepper ( ooops, it’s officially Rixeyville now) and it’s nice to go for just a VISIT, don’t think I could live there again. Don’t miss the hot humid dog days at all. Now all the ‘city folk’ are buying up farm and pasture land to get away from the city and build their dream home. Before long all that they are trying to get away from will be out there with them.
See that out here in Western Washington. The morning commute into Seattle is a nightmare I only watch on the morning news. People are even commuting from east of the mountains!!! Up to 160 –180 miles round trip daily. It starts to bog down by 0530-0600 and lasts til almost 0900. The afternoon starts by 1400 and goes until after 1900. Dread the days I have to be downtown Seattle by 0800 or 0900. And they are few and far in between.
I still have flashbacks from the traffic in the South Bay Area and San Jose. Spent several months down there last year. Gunnie can keep it all to himself down there.
YES, I hate traffic!!!! Telecommute are my by words.

Any clues/docs on the changes you made to the sections module?
BTW, I found Armorama via the PostNuke site. This is the best looking pn implementation I've seen. Congratulations!
