Hello again,
I was jsut wondering what colour the interior of a Panzer Iv Ausf D was. From a picture I remeber a while back, I remember it being white?

It depends on which part of the interior you mean. Due to low level light conditions inside the tank with the hatches shut the colour most of the interior surfaces were painted was a creamy off white I've heard refered to as Elfenbein.
But this would not be the case for the floor area or the lower half of the hull. Floor I've heard would be red oxide colour, like primer.
Transmission parts would be painted another colour, which for the moment I can't remember but I'm sure someone else will. A green or blue/green I think but please check.
Any items of equipment such as handles etc. needed to been seen and used quickly was painted semi gloss black to contrast and stand out against the creamy white.
Also bear in mind any hatches in the turret, hull etc. that opened so the inner surface was exposed would be finished in the exterior of the tanks colour, so as not to stand out and be easliy observed by the enemy.
Hope it helps.
