Nice set. My question, shouldnt there be the Commanders 360shield? I remember seeing it on almost every Tusk upgraded Abrams.

AFAIK, there are no ERA-fitted M1A1s deployed in Afghanistan for the time being... (same with the CSAMM .50 Cal MG above the main gun...)

To clarify, again and hopefully Voyager is reading this. The USMC does not use the ERA, CSAMM .50 cal or the turret top armor around the TCs or Loaders hatches. TUSK is a collection of components. It is set up so that you can apply mission specific items. The USMC has not purchased or fielded all of the items that are part of the TUSK. We will not be getting the ERA as it would do more harm than good when working close with infantry(its what we do). And in A-stan it is not an Urban environment. which is what the "U" in TUSK means. Voyager has put too many items in the USMC 35417 kit that are not needed to build a USMC M1A1, in A-stan or anywhere else. It would be nice if they would offer the Belly Armor, TI Phone, Slave Recptacle box, DUKE IED Antennas, M257 8 Shot Smoke Grenade Launchers, BRE, TCs CWS Thermal sight and Loaders MG shield as a seperate kit.

Outta here, Mike sends . . .

Yes,0.50 MG should not be installed...it includ in VBS0164,I suggest use VBS0163 for your USMC M1A1.

Even tho Mike is bang on the money with what he says about the Marines with their M1's i still think that once finished the kit would look fantastic ..just do a dio where the Marines descided to throw everything they could find at the M1 ,,all the TUSK bits .. urban kit and anything else that they can find ,,goal of the day ,,, try to overload a M1 ,,sounds like fun

Is it just me, or is Voyager still very unclear about what exactly is offered in each set? I see several set numbers listed in each photo, but no real idea what belongs to each set.

No offense Voyager, these are great looking upgrades to say the least. And while seeing the whole package together in a few select photos really shows what can be done and certainly gets the adrenaline pumping, it would be really helpful if you could show us photos that only show one individual upgrade set at a time instead of two to seven applied to the model at the same time.

It is good to see another manufacturer interacting with their ultimate customer, and should be congratulated for taking that step.

I also wish that Voyager would take the step of showing each set used individually on a model allowing the potential customer to see what is and is not in each set. This would then avoid the possible disappointment with a purchase if it does not include an item that was expected to be there. I will add that having reviewed two of the possible sets for the Merkava IV LIC from Voyager Model I was very impressed with the detail and finesse of parts, but individual set reviews are the only way of knowing exactly what is and is not included.

I agree with Darren about pictures for each individual set.

When is the USMC version available again? Looks like I need another Dragon kit

Voyager, let me put it this way....

I will NOT buy any Voyager product without pictures available of what is exactly in each kit.

I agree with the others. Individual set pictures to show what each contains would be more helpful and a better selling tool. I understand that you can put multiple sets together to get a mostly PE Abrams. Some of us are not interested in that though. Some want just the specific sets to add only the pieces they need/want.
