Hi, Lads....

I was researching about the Churchills Mk I in Tunisia, to paint one of my models, in my Churchillīs project ...
https://armorama.kitmaker.net/forums/176677&page=1

And I stumbled on this fantastic page:
http://northirishhorse.net/

By delving into research, I found this article:
http://www.northirishhorse.net/articles/3-1-3-g.html

WOW !!!!

I did not know existed Churchills CS with Panzer III "hats" !!!!

AMAZING !!!

And as I love rare real things, this project has become the next on my list:

Churchill Mk I CS with Panzer III cupola !!!

Time to search, again....

The Churchills CS were tanks that switched the guns position: The 2 pounds gun was for the hull and the 3-inch howitzer went to the tower. These Churchills were called Close Support (CS):

Well, on the website mentioned above, I found these pictures:

After some work in the sepia photo, here's the details:
The ASHBOUNE Churchill Mk I CS:

And the BUSHMILLS Mk I CS:
But a closer look at the details of BUSHMILLS photo, it seems that BOTH GUNS ARE THE SAME CALIBER!!!

What do you think??

The only photo as I know of a Churchill with two howitzers was this:

font:

Itīs possible???

And since we are researching, what do you think is written in the fenders of Bushmills?

My opinion:

Brainstorm....

And using the topic: How about these markings I did on PhotoFiltre, for CS with cupola Panzer??
Are consistent??

Waiting (anxiously) the opinions and suggestions of you ...

and sorry for the topic is so long ...

I got carried away ...

I think the wording on the fenders reads "Not to be stowed on deck". Vulnerable to salt spray and all that.
