Aloha everyone!!!
Does anyone have an pics of the IFF panels that are mounted on combat vehicles? Specifically pictures showing how they are mounted. I've done a "google" check but I just don't think I'm getting the terminology of this item right.
Thank you in advance!!

Hi Kurt
I guess a Google search for "CIP panels" would maybe yields more results (CIP= Combat Identification Panel). There are 2 different types and different way to fit them.
This type :
is fitted using Velcro strips.
The other type can be hung, like on this M1A1 turret side rail :

The panel should also have grab handles on the sides, towards the top. These in turn had straps that tied to the turret sides. I don't have any photos handy, but you can check out how I did mine on my OIF M1A1 in my profile.
