Ok Gaston, i apologise for any offence given it was not intended in a nasty way.

I accept that you seem to have a great eye for interpreting detail and can see things in a photograph that many of us would miss.
But i am struggling, like most folks, to understand why you only trust what your own eye interprets from a photograph and why you seem to mis-trust scale plans which have been produced by reputable experts who have measured an real subject.

Would please explain why is?

Hi all,

First up, I post on a few modelling forums, but am quite new to all of them.

It seems that Gaston has something of, shall we say, a reputation

As I see it there are two possibilities:
1) He is trolling, looking to generate arguement.
2) He is genuinely obsessive with regards to 'accuracy'. (That' not a crime!)

So, depending on which of the above we all believe, we should either ignore him or engage in a reasoned debate about accuracy. If the later, it is reasonable to ask Gaston to back up his arguements with facts, measurements, drawings, etc.

I'll just remain happy that the odd 'scale inch' of inaccuracy won't give me sleepless nights!

Al
