I have spent the weeknd adding optics to my Tamiya Challenger 2, and for the commander's cupola I used two shades of purplish confetti behind the clear inserts, which has given a very good effect that matches reference photos. However, I am now getting ready to tackle the optics on the commander's Panoramic sight turret, and the best I can tell from what pictures i have found (and none are close ups) the glass on it appears darker, and seems to lack the metallic sheen of the periscopes...was hoping to get input from those a little more in the know on Chally's as to the best way to finish the optics for this sight, or at least provide a close up picture of the sight itself.
