Hey Shaun, the title kind of grabed me and the ideas where going like what can he be meaning this time. Great and original dio. I hauled scrap metal for years and you got it down nicely.

A very original diorama you have here, but it would kill me to build all those models and then stack them up. I would be gutted.

Great concept, but I agree with Darren. Produced a most unusual setting, well done.

Hello
Thanks for the Thumbs up Guy's.
I knew it was a risky build when I started it & I'm very happy with the result.
Will be taking it to it's 1st show this weekend ( Duxford MAFVA Nationals ) & see what the comments are then.

Hi Shaun
I think its a stunner. Great idea and something that really stands out because of its originality/uniqness. Can´t say that very often now-a-days.
Have you plans to add a figure or two passing by? Doug´s originals British soldier pointing/on the march/grinning comes to mind!

Hello Frank
Glad you like it.
No plans at the moment to put a figure on it, Did consider a German Railway worker in civi's as the pic I used for reference was taken in 1958.

Well done Shaun, great idea!

I first wondered if that height would be realistic, but then i looked at your album...

Hello
Took this to the MAFVA Nationals on the 19th ( Father's Day). Got some puzzled looks & comments that I've got great imagination until they saw the pic's I placed with the model, & explained about it.
I entered it into the comp & got a 2nd place so I'm very happy.

Hi
Alfred For a couple of years, birthday & christmas prezzies where the carriers.
Nico I like building something slightly different from the norm, that way when people see it they remember it.
I'm glad you like the build.
