Just getting back into modelling and attempting my first build with resin and PE.
Have the Verlinden SAS jeep conversion 1434 and the instructions appear to be missing some detail, namely what some of the PE parts are, how they are bent, and where they go. I've searched and cannot find any additional instructions.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I've tried to attach some pics of the fret.
I've figured some of it out, but I'm obviously not experienced enough to recognise some of the parts.
This is the list of part no's i need help with
1. ? horizontal straps for rear jerry can rack
3. ?
4. ?
5-6. ? Vickers sights
8. ? base of rear jerry can rack
17-18. ? .50 cal sights
19. ?
23. ?
33. ?
44. ?
66. ?
77. ?
Cheers

Hello Andrew!
I checked my stash, and found the SAS upgrade.
I think I have the same issue that you have... se picture below... this is all of the instructions that came with the kit...
I think we are missing the vickers instructions, plus some other miscellaneous...

Yep that's the kit. Looks like someone may have forgotten to add the extra photocopied sheet of instructions?
Also, have to say am a liitle disappointed with the resin pieces. Loads of flash, esp in hard to reach areas on the guns and distortion ?sink marks on the ammo boxes.
I was looking for something a little more challenging than an out of the box build, I guess that's what I've ended up with.

Thanks very much You must have some connections.
That should give me a pretty good head start.
Super impressed with this forum.
Someone always has the answers and helpful advice, even for complete newbies like me.

Hi Andrew ,
Don't forget you can obtain the Legends resin and brass etch set and an
eduard pe set .
Between all three sets you can make a pretty accurate SAS jeep
.
The VP set is old for its age but still is accurate .
I ended up stealing the vickers K guns from the italeri European SAS jeep as they are more sturdy in construction and not prone to breaking.
I'm not trying to steal the thread but the images below give you an idea of the work ahead.
I'm still tinkering with this one at the moment.
