Can someone please explain to me the actual process of using corn silk for grass. I went to that Dioramafile website, translated it, and it all turned out mumbo jumbo. I tried to make sense of his pictures and I can't really do that.
Can someone please tell me step by step on what I am to do? Thank you so much for your help!

Next time you have corn on the cob in the house check it out before and as a you husk it. When you take the leaves off the ear of corn youll see a bunch of stringy stuff. This is corn silk.
You use this as a grass substitute instead of brush bristles.
As far as details of drying or treating it with a dull/clear coat I haven't seen any information on it. On the diorama file site it does looks like they just air brushed it.
That'll give you a start. Experiment and see what works, next time you have corn you'll get a Ton of the stuff.

www.dioramafile.com is the address.
Thanks again slodder, I think that it is just a trial and error thing. Actually its kind of frustrating, but exciting at the same time.
