Hi,

I am going to buy the 1/16 King Tiger from Trumpeter but I cannot decide which one would be nicer (they have released three kits). Could anybody tell me what the differences between them are and pehaps suggest which one is more "rewarding"? Of course, if there are better 1/16 King Tiger models out there please, let me know!

These are the Trumpeter models:

Thanks!

Hi Darek,

Im building the 2 in 1 kit. It gives you both turrets and is quite abit cheaper. The single kits do have the following extras though:

Clear hull parts
Metal sprocket and idlers
Pre assembled tracks
Metal barrell

All the kits have the same accuracy/fit problems. none come with zimmerit.

You won't find a more complete kit OOB than the trumpeter kit but there is still alot of work involved

Check this site out. It has all the info you will ever need and there are some incredible builds on there.

I've never looked in any of the Trumpeter kits but if detail is what you are looking for there is a PE set for the KT as well as zimm sheets too.
