Ok, so I finally managed to finish my Bronco M1114 kit. Havent really had the time to post much of this work in progress on the site, just kept silently plugging away at it.
As you can see it represents one of the fairly famous vehicles of 1st Platoon, D Company, 2nd Battalion 504 PIR of the 82nd Airborne in Afghanistan 2005. The Bronco kit was detailed with scratch build Ibis Tek water can rack and spare tire mount (different to the kit part) and various other minor details. There is a completely detailed interior as well (the roof can be removed to display it)
Only got this one pic at the moment, kindly taken by Craig Hiscock from the Military modelling forum of my model at the MAFVA nationals. So I shall take some more pics tomorrow if the sun is out to show you all the other details (think of this as a teaser pic!)
One thing I will say as well is that in reality the blue isnt as 'blue' as that, I guess its just down to the camera, but in reality its much more toned down, basically baby blue color like the real vehicle.

Cheers for the comments guys.
As for the color..grey?blue? tbh its hard to say for certain without actually seeing the vehicle in real life. But my take on it is its similar to pastel blue color i.e very pale and perhaps with a hint of grey. Anyway based on the photos only I found Vallejo 70901 Pastel blue to be a good match.
As promised heres some more pics. (the badges on the base are just temporary until I get a proper plaque made up)

Looks great. Detail on the interior really rocks...shame most won't be visible when closed up. Any chance of a close-up of the center-fold? ;-)
