Hi, I would like to know which color I have to apply to the uniforms on the WWII german heer infantry.

Heer infantry uniforms were generally field gray (Feldgrau). Tamiya makes this color, but it might be a good idea to lighten it slightly with a variation of white, buff, or light grey, etc. The only items in camo the Heer used was the rolled up shelter quarter, helmet cover, and camo smock (similar to SS version, but seldom seen) in 3 color splinter pattern - light green, brown, and dark green. Reversible winter parkas were splinter pattern/white. Pre and early war troops sometimes had field gray jackets with gray pants.

The version from Tamiya and Vallejo is Grey Green and the version from Model Master a very neutral Mid Grey

What colour is Olive Drab, Russian 4BO Green, Dunkelgelb type questions

In other words something close is all that is needed as the real thing was all different shades of all different colours type of thing.

But it is very grey, all the other makers field greys are more grey green.
