Just wondering if anyone has built this kit and used it with Legends crew? I know that they don't fit with either Tamiya or Broncos without a log of plastic surgery...

I almost finished my M1151, and I can say that it would require as much plastic/resin surgery to fit figures inside the kit as in the Bronco kit. That`s why I
removed the figures from my Bronco model.

Hans, you're gonna post some pics when you finish right?? I think you may be the first with the Academy 1151, not sure though. Regardless I for one would love to see it!

They were cast to fit Legends interior set so they would fit those seats which should be able to replace the kit seats. The price on them have gon up and they are harder to find though. And I still couldn't tell you if you'd have to make adjustments to the dash. Food for thought if anybody has both in their stashes.

yes I have the Academy HMMWV under construction. I bought the kit and then ordered all the PE/Resin updates. Unfortunatly, it takes some weeks to get it. So I spontaneusly decided to convert the kit into an M1165 Prophet 2 carrier.
I just work on the antenna domes. But I guess that there are many modellers
who like to see this model
