Looking pretty good. Olivier. Good luck on it.
Phill, your tank is a little confused. You have an M1A2 commander's cupola and .50 cal mount (dark brown pieces) with an M1A1 man hole cover, the round cover plate bolted on the top of the right side in front of loaders hatch. There should be the CITV (Commander's Independant Termal Viewer) in place of the cover. The M1A2 is never seen without both these features. They are what makes it an M1A2 externally.

You know Gino anything annoys me more than people reading my mind the CITV is going to be put on there soon ,, the man hole cover is just sitting on there at the mo to cover up the hole for the photo .. so don't worry matey its all gonna be good lol

Which pic specifically? What do you want to know about it?
I built "Bad Blessing" for a customer a few months ago based on pics out of the book in that thread.

This is an M1A1 from 1-35 AR, 1st AD out of Germany. It has TUSK I on it, along with the armored shields around the commander's station.
TUSK II is really just the added, curved ceramic plates. The rest of the gunner's shields and other items are all part of just TUSK. There are lots of interchangable shields and blast panels that can be added as needed.

Ahh thanks for that ,,,explains a fare bit that does ... this one in the pic is missing the CITV ..is that cause of the area ,,i think it looks more business like with the CITV on the tank anyway .. makes a big mean beast look like a little bigger beast .

No, the tank in the pic is an M1A1. The CITV is a feature of the M1A2.
See my M1 Variants article for more info in Abrams types.

I still don't get what the recoil action is supposed to be good for. The assembly is nice, no question about it but does such a model realy need such a "toy skill"?!
