I´m willing to build all the armor used in SCW. As you know most of it was of Soviet origin so I think this would be the best place to ask...
What I want to know is which are the best kits (and easier to build) of the vehicles I want to made.
As an example: Which BA-3 Is better, Zvezda Vs Eastern Express?
Well, these are the vehicles I want to build:
T-26 1933-35? (Round commander hatch AA MG)
BT-5 (Also with cylindrical turret)
BA-3
BA-6
FA-1 (If any available?)
And sofskins:
Zis 5/6
GAZ AA/AAA
Thanks in advance, this is a long term project (20 years at my current buil rate...) that I would like to donate to the local Military Museum

Most of these are available from Russia. ARK has the EE molds I believe, they're quite inexpensive.
For Ba-3s, I think the Zvezda kit is somewhat better, but each is a mixed bag.
If I'm not mistaken, the FA-1 is a version of the Ba-20. Alan did a very good kit of this, also boxed by Dragon, it's not hard to find.

The easiest way to collect them could be
T-26 1933-35 Zvezda
BT-5 Eastern Express or maybe Tamiya Bt-7modified
BA-3 Zvezda with Miniart wheels
BA-6 You should buy the zvezda BA3 and you should modify the back door. You should use Miniart wheels to improve it
FA1 To be honest i don't know
Zis 5/6 Zvezda and Eastern Express produced it. A while tiime ago Zvezda Zis5 was reboxed by Italeri
GAZ AA/AAA Zvezda kits with Miniart wheels
On average all these kits are old, have accuracy problems and many fitting flaws. You'll have to spend a lot of time to complete in a decent way this stunning collection, but anyway you don't have any alternatives (except the complete scratch building)
Unfortunately Big kit companies haven't produced these subjects yet
Have a good luck. You need it!
Cheers

Hey, Mauro
Actually BA-6 didn't have the back door.

Hi Alex
Yes, I know. I meant that he has to remove the back door details from the Zvezda kit
Thanks anyway

Last night I spent some time doing searches in Google and i found out that in fact Zvezda and EE BA-3 are the same model...And both need all the rivetting redone both in hull and in turret Same issues with EE BA-6
Zvezda BT-5 has to suffer major surgery and T-26 needs some retouching.
No one seems to made the FA1 , maybe with a Ford A pickup chassis and some styrene...
Well, as I said is a long term project that is becoming a long-long term project

As far as i know, the lack of rivets are not the worst Zvezda Ba3 problem
Front wheel axle is too forward and has to be repositioned
There are some issue in the T-26 turret shape
On december I tried to order the Ba-3 kit but they told me that it was out of the catalogue
Eventually i bought the ba 10, I don't know if the ba-3 kit is still on sale
This could help you

There is also a stunning russian tread about that kit, but, unfortunately I can't see the WIP pics any more

Well, I can see the pics and I can tell you that Russian Guy is insane
Thanks, that will be a good guide to build mine...But in a simpler way, I´m afraid.
What´s wrong with the turret (rivets appart)? Pistol ports under vision slots seem also too forward and there´s a general lack of finer detail. But overall shape seems good.

Sparta of Germany is going to offer the missing armoured car based on the BA-20. It is the conv. by spanish nationalist with MG13 bow mg and a turret looking like Panzer I one.

I think you´re speaking about the Spanish UNL...Which scale will be? They have already a 1/48 Mercedes that was widely used by Legion Condor.
A Spanish subject! That would be real good news

The Zvezda ZiS-5 is a late Zis-5 made with a lot of nonstrategic materials (ie wood). I'm not sure if it participated in the SCW.
It is an outstanding kit, however. It's held up well over the last decade

You mean ZIS 5V. No, only the early all metal cabin were used.
