Hey fellas!,
Alright, so last week i bought the famous Dragon 88mm FLAK 36. maybe you've seen it. the winter version. well, its got 536 or so parts and since ive always stuck to simpletons like Tamiya and Revell, i'm not used to this one. I want to use my Tamiya M4A3 medium sherman that i completed and have the flak in some kind of branches or something in cover. and i am in dire need of the "white-wash" method using hairspray and acrylics. any help?
ive got the winter version of this one. and yes, im doing the whitewash on it. i started the whitewash, but its been set aside while i do other models and campaigns...you will probably finish yours before i finish mine

not quite sure if it is going to come out exactly as i want. i only did a single color for the base before the hairspray and white. i did a burnt umber for the base to replicate the color of steel that isnt new, but isnt rusting. ive noticed that when you do the hairspray technique, while you are doing the removal of the white, it will produce a filter as well over the base color. once im done with teh white wash. i will be doing alot of fine detail once im done with the white wash, to tie it all together. ie: adding grays, touches of rust, pigments, etc
