I started AERīs amphibious T38 yesterday. Anybody who has ever built one of these eastern European kits knows what they are like. I bought it second hand for $10 and it included airwaves PE set for it. The fit is actually not that bad and the PE parts were no problem.
The big stumbling block is the one exploded drawing of the kit which must be a 100th edition as its all nearly black. All the propellar drive for the back is impossible to see.
I need some pics of the real thing to make sense of it!
Also it has link and length tracks which are not great quality and the sprues connecting to the fine tracks is huge! So is there anybody who makes an aftermarket track for this or will I have to make do?
All help appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Plasticbattle,

I havent found much but here it is anyway...

http://members.ozemail.com.au/~janterpol/TANKOGRAD.HTM

Tankograd Gazette No 14 has stories including coverage of the T-64A Model 1979/80 MBT, Achzarit Israeli T-55 Kangaroo, ZSU-37, T-37/T38 light amphibious tanks, T-26, and other articles. There are 44 pages, 30 black and white photos and 74 colour photos, and 1:35 scale plans of the T-37.

I would also check out armybook.com as they have a huge range of books on obscure/rare russian vehicles.

Thanks very much Guys for taking the time out to reply. From some of the pictures supplied, I can assemble the rest of the kit. That Chinese guy has made this kit to perfection. man... would I love it, if mines turned out anywhere near as good!
Cheers!

I recently got a T-38. Not an awful kit, but he tracks are pretty rough. Did you ever find an aftermarket source for tracks?

Modelkasten has a set of non-workable tracks for T-37/38, set # mk26.
