Hi all,
Just a small question: Between Tristar, Dragon, and Tamiya, which one has more accurate equipment(in 1/35) with respect to size. And would it be normal to interchange them?
Thanks,

Hi
I think to get any sort of answer you are going to need to be a little more specific. Are we talking Allied, Axis etc. Any particular items.

Hi Alan,
I was thinking of it in general, but more specifically Axis equipment. Such as the bread bag, gas mask cylinder, 98k ammo pouches, entrenching tool, etc …
I have gotten the Kursk “bailout from the pocket” set from Tristar and the equipment looks much smaller but the bodies are almost the same (the torso of the Tristar is slightly smaller). So I was wondering which one is more accurate, and if Dragon is the accurate one (for size) would it be unusual to substitute them on the Tristar figures?
thanks,

most of the dragon stuff is great, but the bread bags for axis are a little undersized and so are some of the tins.
hope this helps

It's best to be consistent in your choice of equipment, and IMO Dragon is the best choice as it is the best detailed. By using consistent equipment on different manufacturers figures (especially helmets and weapons) you will make undersized figures look like 'short people' instead of being under-scale.The same works the other way with slightly over-sized figures. You will end up with a much more realistic-looking crowd this way.
