Ola,
I've got a question for you guys. I'm about making my first dio and it will be large. 60*60cm. But that's not my problem. The problem I have is next: I have some kits of Dragen and Tamiya and some kits from Verlinden. I've noticed that the one of verlinden are larger. What should I do? Mix them together? Or use only the dragon/tamiya kits or only the verlinden kits?
Hope you can help me.
Thx

Verlinden figures are made by several different artists... in the early days, Francois did them all, so size was more consistant. Overall, you can matchDML and Verlinden... some guys will just be taller than others, as they are in real life. I mix them all the time.

hi, I think, you have to use the one that are the most useful. If the Verlinden figs are better and the Dragon and Tamiya figs are more for the show, I would choose for the Verlinden figs. If the Dragon and Tamiya figs more useful, use them. But anotherthing. What kind of dio will it be??? in the Ardennes or in Normandy???? let me know and send some pics when you are finished, Good Luck!!!

Mix'em up. They should be fine.
Here's one example the MP is VP and the driver is Tamya (close to Dragon).
Next to each other the MP is Huge, probably about 5 scale inches taller.

What everyone else said...however, make sure you use only one company's weapons and packs. While people vary is size, M1 Garands are all the same size. You'll also have more realism if all the canteens have tthe same level of detail, the packs have the same style folds and creases, etc. You might want to consider some after market heads, (preferably with helmets) as well so the facial detailing remains somewhat consistent.

Hi Wezz, the only thing to remember when mixing slightly diferent scaled figures is to make sure that all equipment such as rifles and machine guns are of the same scale, people come in diferent sizes but an M1 garrand [for example] tended to be produced in a standard size.
