Hi all,
I'm planning on doing several WW2 German tanks in 1/35. As such, to keep me right detail wise, i'm putting together a little folder with all the mods I need to carry out on kits to represent the vehicles I want to do.
One of the vehicles i'm planning on doing was a King Tiger with the turret number 323 that was part of Pz.Ers-u-Ausb. Abt. 500.
I already know that it had a sectional gun barrel, later tracks and 9-tooth sprocket, armoured turret ring, and no cutouts on the tow brackets.
However, I only have a couple of photos and some of the details either are out of shot or not clear enough. So could anyone fill me in on the following details:
- If it had the cutout on the front armour plate for the radio operator.
- If it had the deep fording "pot" on the rear deck.
- If it had the additional grills over the rear engine deck.
- If it had the lifting hooks around the rear deck fans.
- If it had the later TZF 9d sight.
Any help would be apreciated
Sean
