I really need to find some naval figurines, german sailors preferable, i have just finished a model of the Bismark at 1-200 and i cant find sailors to fit it, i had thought of trying to use railway people and re painting them, can some one help,

RR figures are viable. You could also learn to sculpt your own. I can't see that it would take too much effort at 1:200. I would try epoxy clay, if you go this route.

Do the RR run the same scale ?, and if not do you know the size that matches 1-200.

Just search for the different RR scales available.

For an informed answer I encourage you to post your question over on Model Shipwrights (MSW), Armorama's naval modelling sister-site. You can use your Armorama/Kitmaker user name and password to login.
I'd take a gander at it though and say there are a few photo-etch (yes, seriously: photo-etch crew!) options available to you, but the blokes at MSW will be able to point you in the right direction.
