On 1/35 german infantry....Trying to get the Mauser 98k ammo pouches to "wrap" around the waist more naturally. I've scored the back and attempted to bend but have broken two sets. Maybe heat? Hold the piece in pliers, heat a rod, or screwdriver and "wrap" piece around slightly? Anything to help the peice to curve more to the figures waist. Any tips appreciated......Thanks, J.C.

I cut mine into three pieces, glue them to 0.2mm thick plastic strips then when I glue them on the glue melts the plastic strip and makes it soft and flexible enough to mould them to the curve I need while still keeping them looking like one unit rather than three separate pouches..

Hey JC
Hot water should work, although I can't say I have assembled a plastic figure in quite some time. Little by little, then cold water to drop it straight into after?

Cut them into three sections. Then cut the back of the ammo pouches 2/3 of the way through about 4mm from the top. This will allow them to flex so that they follow the lines of the hips. Finally, attach them to thin styrene strip, so that they look to be one piece. Glue to hips/waist.

Thanks Matt.....I'll try that. These tips got me unstuck. Usually just glue them on and try to fit as best I can. I want to get better, and have them sit naturally. Thanks again.
