With Bravo 6 making figures out of a scene out of HBO's The Pacific. The one were the Marine goes for a C**p and gets caught with is pants down, and is chased by a Jap. I was thinking. Has anyone made a model, dio etc out of a movie scene? Or does anyone know of other kits made with a film in mind? Maybe it would make a good Campaign. If someone was interested in starting one. What do you guys think? Cheers Geraint.

Theres been loads. There was a Sherman crew featuring Oddball and the rest from Kelly heroes, and somebody else did "windtalkers" with an extra resin Nicolas Cage. Then theres all the Andrea type 54mm figures as well.

Specifically for The Pacific, Verlinden makes a "Things to Do" figure set. They aren't marines, but you should be able to convert them pretty easily. Of course, Japanese soldiers are easy enough to find. I think the real task will be in building the groundwork. With the simplicity of the scene, the battlefield will be the prominent feature of the scene.

Has anyone made any Dio's based on the movies? I remember someone doing the bridge scene from Saving Private Ryan, the bit when he's firing his pistol at the Tiger. Know of anymore?

Martin Schusters "Thin Red Line" diorama comes to mind.
Difficult to find pics online now, but a brilliant diorama nevertheless.

A company (can't remember now, Vietnam is not my period) makes the main figures from "Platoon".
