Tamiya has an M48A3 out
Academy an M48A5
Legend has a number of conversion set to make the M48, A1, A2, A2C and A2GA2 variants
Legend has a stowage set for the M48A3 (Vietnam)
Legend has a sandbag set for the M48A3 (Vietnam)
(and a combi with both sets)
There are "AFV Crew sets" for the period out there from various manufacturers. Some for Vietnam (Academy, Verlinden), some for Europe (IIRC Dragon)

Don't be fooled by statements from people who bash the Legend A1 conversion without even buying it - mine is flawless.

any experience with the A2GA2 conversion from Legend? That version served with me in the Jager Batallion so I plan to buy that and a Tamiya M48A3 for Christmas
Oh and how complex is the build/do you have a buildlog (or of the A1)?

Howdy "Mr Meier",
the Legend M48A2GA2 conversion is a very good one. AEF once had an M48A2GA2. This conversion was one of the worst I worked with!!! Air bubbles all over and quite a lot of mistakes with the mouldings. For example the mantlet didn't have the the openings for the coax and the auxiliary sight M97. But on the other hand no bad words in respect to cadavers!!! AEF ceased to exist! I will not cry!
Go with the Legend conversion. I haven't build the Legend M48A2GA2 but other conversions and they were a pleasure to assembly!
Cheers
