Has any one tried white board cleaner to thin tamiya acrylics with? The reason I ask is some of them have isopropanol and glycol listed on their labels the same as listed on the tamiya bottles. Thanks,Jeff

Why, you got an ilicit stash?

Whiteboard cleaner has got a lot of cleaning agents in them, some I've used has ammonia in it which degrades acrylic.
If you want cheap thinners, consider (& test for yourselves) get the blue screen wash from your local motor-factors. I tried this with Tamiya paint & Halfords' (UK brand) & I got results similar to pebbledash!
My own preference is Vallejo Medea airbrush cleaner, work for everything acrylic I spray.
