Hello friends!
Here is one of my works from 2007. I hope you like it.
Kit: RPM, 1/35
During the invasion of France, hundreds of French Tanks were captured. Regarding the Geschutzwagen, 48 of thes self-propelled guns were produced utilising the chassis of French Hotchkiss H-39 tanks married with a 10.5cm 18/40 Howitzer. Tha type of gun was particulary powerful with a range of dozen km. and a rate of fire of between 6 and 8 rounds per minute, protected by an armoured cockpit.
This vehicle become represented as part of the 21st Panzer Division - Sturmgeschutz Abteilung 200 and the 8th Panzerartillerie Abteilung / Pz.Art.Rgt. 125 under the Major Becker Command in the combats in Normandy, France 1944.

Looks great, Nice work!
I have always liked this vehicle. I have seen several colored films of GIs using one of these in France to shell German positions.

Great work. You took a kit that is not exactly manufactured to the highest standards and still achieved an exceptional result. Very well done, indeed.

Very nice build.
This subject is not based on the Hotchkiss H38 tank but the Lorraine 37L armored supply vehicle.

@rtvmodeler – Rodolfo,
What an interesting vehicle! I like the camouflage and the weathering. I also like the slight rusting effect you created that runs along the bottom edges on the outside of the crew compartment and upper hull sides. Superbly detailed crew compartment especially with the magazine sitting on top of the main guns breach and the knife blade imbedded into the wooden box.
Thank you for sharing and posting your build here.
